Toner-approved vacuums
Toner-approved
vacuums are optional items of equipment, but recommended if
you do large-scale laser cartridge recycling.
They can also be used as a service tool to clean accumulated
toner and dust from inside laser toner printers. These special
vacuums are available in both US and European voltages (see
below).
Toner vacuums are equipped with special
.3 micron filters fine enough to catch
toner particles. Toner vacuums are handy for general laser cartridge cleaning, as well as for cleaning out the old
toner from the toner hopper and other parts of the laser cartridge. We do not recommend using a regular vacuum, as the
filters are not fine enough to contain the tiny toner
particles.
The filters are replaceable and
available separately.
