Brother Laser Products and Supplies
Though originally known for their line of sewing machines (which they still offer), Brother has manufactured a selection of office machines over the past several decades, including typewriters, faxes, printers and copiers. In the past years, Brother has released a large number of laser printers, laser faxes, and laser multifunction machines. Currently their most popular office items are their laser Multifunction Center products. Brother also has introduced a small number of color laser printing systems, which fit into Brother's general pattern of separate toner print cartridges and drum units. In the design of their laser printing systems, Brother has adhered to a 2-cartridge structure, comprised of separate toner print cartridges and drum units. Though some of their older laser printing systems had a rather lopsided toner-drum system in which the toner print cartridge did little more than store toner, most existent Brother laser printing system models seem to split the imaging process more evenly between the two units.
