Samsung Ink-jet Products and Supplies
Though Samsung is more well-known for its laser printer, fax, or copiers, they also released a line of ink printers under their brand name, which were actually manufactured by Lexmark. Samsung's ink printers can use the corresponding Lexmark ink-jet print cartridge and ink-jet print cartridge refill supplies.

| OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer). Typically, ink-jet print cartridges containing their own printing elements are ONLY manufactured by the same company that made the ink printer. This has to do with the proprietary ink-jet print cartridge design usually protected by patent or equivalent. There is tendency to believe that OEM ink-jet print cartridges are made in the US and brand new compatible ink-jet print cartridges abroad. Many (if not most) OEM ink-jet print cartridges are manufactured overseas. Not unheard of, the same company may produce ink-jet print cartridges with two different labels (original) and (compatible). |
