Compressed Air
Cans of compressed air are useful
to blowing toner particles off the outside of the toner
cartridge, gears and other parts. When using compressed air to
clean toner, we recommend the use of dust masks and goggles for
protection against errant particles of toner.*

*Toner is an extremely fine powder, which in
large quantities can cause some respiratory irritation. It is not classed as a substance hazardous to health, but
exposure to larger amounts dispersed in the air can cause coughing
and sneezing.
